Yes — all quotes are free and come with no obligation. For smaller jobs I can often quote over the phone or by photo. Larger jobs may require a quick site visit to give you an accurate number.
Evenings and weekends are my primary availability — Monday to Friday after 5pm, and all day Saturday and Sunday. This means you don't have to take time off work to get things done around the house.
My hourly rate is $65/hr with a 2-hour minimum for one-off jobs. Half day (4hr) and full day (8hr) packages are also available at better rates.
Either works. I'm happy to source materials for you, or work with materials you supply. If you're supplying materials, please ensure they're correct for the job — I can't guarantee results if incompatible materials are provided.
E-transfer is preferred. Cash is also accepted. Payment is due on completion unless a deposit has been agreed in advance for larger jobs.
Absolutely — flat-pack furniture assembly is one of the most common requests I get. IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, or any other brand. Beds, wardrobes, desks, shelving units, outdoor furniture & small structures — assembled correctly and efficiently so you don't have to deal with the instruction manual.
Yes — I offer monthly retainer packages for summer lawn maintenance (May to September). Retainer clients get reliable scheduled service at a fixed monthly rate.
It's a seasonal maintenance visit covering small tasks that often get overlooked — furnace filter replacement, smoke and CO detector testing, lubricating locks and hinges, clearing gutters and dryer vents, and topping up weatherstripping. I provide a printed Home Health Report after every visit summarizing what was done and anything you may want to address separately.
Every Home Health visit includes a full hour of handyman labour at no extra charge. Use it for anything on your to-do list — a dripping faucet, a sticky door, a loose fixture, a shelf that needs mounting. If there's nothing urgent, I can address minor items found during the checkup itself. Any work beyond the 60 minutes is billed at the standard rate.
